The Dance Workshop has been in business since 1978, its teaching staff provides your child with exceptionally good dance training while motivating each student to love the gift of dance. This provides the experience to strengthen their self confidence and build positive self-image of them selves. Dance offers so much – poise, grace, confidence, discipline and self esteem, which will be of lasting value, no matter what the student’s interest. Striving to instill an appreciation of dance is our desire whether the student is striving toward a professional dance career or is dancing for their personal satisfaction of self-expression. Our students consist of children from 2 thru 18 years old. We are proud of all our students accomplishments, not only the competition groups but the students who learn to shuffle for the very first time, the children that figured out the difference between an inside turn and an outside turn, the ones that finally stood in fifth position without falling over and all the others that learned even just one new thing and drove their parents crazy practicing it over and over again.
We strive to instill an appreciation of dance whether the student is striving toward professional dancing or is dancing for their personal satisfaction or self-expression. Our Studio offers Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tumbling, Lyrical and Pointe. We are looking forward to a wonderful and successful dance year. Please come join us.
